For a genuine plumbing emergency, call me directly. If I cannot answer, leave a message and I will call you back as soon as I can. There is no call-out fee, and I will do my best to get to you the same day.

If something has gone wrong and you are not sure whether it counts, call. It is better to ring and find it is a simple fix than wait and cause more damage.
Burst or Leaking Pipe
Turn off your stop cock first, then call me. I will do my best to get to you as soon as I can.
Severe Leak or Flooding
Water coming through ceilings or pooling on floors needs urgent attention. Call as soon as you can.
Blocked or Overflowing Drain
A toilet that will not flush or waste backing up. I will clear it and find out why it happened.
Loss of Water Supply
If you have lost water to the whole property and it is not a known outage, call for help.
Urgent Tap or Toilet Fault
A valve that will not shut off or a fitting that is leaking badly. Do not wait until morning if water is still running.
What to Do in a Plumbing Emergency

Turn off your water at the stop cock (usually under the kitchen sink or where the main pipe enters the property).

Move valuables away from leaking water and lay down towels to limit spread.

If you smell gas, do not use electrical switches. Open windows, leave the property, and call National Gas on 0800 111 999.

Take a photo if it is safe to do so. It helps me understand the problem before I arrive.
